William Inge’s 1955 play ran for 478 performances, and was nominated in 1956 for four Tony awards, including Best Play. Director Dick Domey describes it as “a gentle romantic comedy” about passengers on a bus stranded at a diner during a blizzard in rural Kansas.  Three love relationships are examined, including the longstanding, drive-by romance between Carl, the bus driver, and Grace, the owner of the diner.

Come one and all to join us for for annual membership party on Jan 19th.  5:30pm to about 9pm at the Kenworthy Performing Arts Ctr. This is a 1950's themed party and costumes are encouraged.  Prizes for best costumes will be awarded at the end of each event.

We open our evening with an old fashioned Sock Hop lead by Mary Heller.  Mary has been a professional dancer and educator for 22 yrs.  She is also a certified instructor for BeMoved®.  Mary will teach easy to learn 1950's style combinations. Fun for the whole family.  

There will be free popcorn, drinks, veggies, and other goodies available after the dance.  

Starting at 7pm we will show a Grease Sing- Along.

The party is open to MCT members.  If you do not have an MCT membership you may join at the door.  Memberships are $5 annually.
